What is Knomadic?
Knomadic brings together 15-20 inspiring professionals, students and entrepreneurs to travel South Asia like never before for 3 months of fun, learning and professional and personal growth.
Do I need to have a remote job to participate in Knomadic?
While our trip is catered to remote workers it is not necessary to have a remote job. The pace of our trip is very slow and there will be a lot of zen time in each destination during which a member is free to do as he pleases. You could consider doing a massive open online course during your zen time.
Can Knomadic help me find a remote job?
Unfortunately, no. Knomadic is not a job provider, but our local team members will gladly put you in touch with a few people they know.
What are the type of co-travellers I can expect on tour?
You will find interesting and motivated students, professionals and entrepreneurs on tour, from different parts of the world.
Do I have to speak English?
While you certainly don’t have to be fluent in English to join Knomadic, you should have basic conversational skills.
Can I bring children or pets?
We are not equipped to accommodate children or pets.
Where do people work while on the trip?
While you can choose to work at any café, beach shack or mountaintop, knomadic provides you with unlimited access to your own private desk at a well-equipped co working space at each destination.
Where are the co-working spaces located?
The co working spaces will be located within a 30-minute commute (walking or public transport) from the place of accommodation.
How much does Knomadic cost?
Knomadic costs 4000 USD for the entire trip covering 3 Months. Additionally you can sign up for monthly packages depending on your preference of location.

Could I travel cheaper on my own?
Probably yes but the program offers you tons of benefits that you would not get if you were travelling alone plus there will always be someone from our staff to help you out in case you hit any roadblocks.
What are the accommodations like?
We will give you a comfortable private room in a hotel, Service Apartment or Villa with incredibly fast Wi-Fi. We provide bed linens and towels as well.
What should I bring on the trip?
This is totally up to you but the best advice we can give is to pack lightly! Laundry is available at all our destinations.
What if I have an unexpected emergency and must leave the trip immediately?
In the event of an emergency which would require you to leave the program you will not be liable to pay the fee for the months you are not with us.
Do I need a visa?
This is dependant on the nationality of the passport you hold and we advise you to consult a travel agent in the country of your residence.
If I do need a visa to enter certain countries, will knomadic provide one for me?
If you end up needing a visa to enter a country, you will be responsible for obtaining it. With that said, if you let us know beforehand, we can provide you with the travel and accommodation documentation needed to secure your visa.
Do I need Health and Travel Insurance while travelling on your tours?
It is not required but we strongly recommend that you purchase a health and travel insurance plan before you travel with us.
Are the cities that Knomadic travels to safe?
Regardless of where you are in the world, most big cities have spots to be avoided by tourists. Plus there is always some level of risk inherent in international travel. Using common sense and being aware of your surroundings goes a long way.
What's the application process for knomadic?
You will be required to fill in an application form with relevant details about yourself, what you plan to do while on tour and how you plan to contribute to the group as well as what you want and are expecting to gain from the trip.
What do you look for an applicant?
We are looking for applicants who are open to new experiences and meeting new people and will say Yes! To new experiences. Since our trip is not a solo activity and networking and positive mutual interaction is the biggest objective of our trips. You will be evaluated on your ability to maintain and develop productive and respectful relationships with your fellow travellers. Being tolerant and considerate to your fellow travellers is very important.
